Hans Lein (1966, Roeselare, Belgium) is a director with the Rotterdams Wijktheater. In 2005 he directed  ‘Baba’, a play he made with Moroccan youths and their fathers for Rotterdams Wijktheater. In 2006/7, he directed ‘Under Cover’, a play with young people in crisis. He is also artistic director of youth theatre company De Ontbranding [’Ignition’] for which he recently directed ‘On Da Move’. He trained in Brussels, Courtrai and Utrecht and has been working in youth and school theatre since 1993, mostly for Dutch educational institutions and theatre organizations such as Rotterdams Lef. He joined Rotterdams Wijktheater in 2003 and, before ‘Baba’, directed ‘Matties’ and ‘The Pimp’.
